In the age of COVID-19, live concerts have migrated online to concert streams with a bare-bones crew and no live audience. At the beginning of the pandemic, Dan’s Tunes took a break from show coverage to focus on bringing the community resources and reporting on music releases. As livestreaming has become the new normal, we decided to venture back out, and we’re excited to announce that we were able to photograph our first show in-person (following proper safety procedures).

On Friday night, Micaiah Sawyer and Kate Dinsmore put on a stellar show on the High Dive stage for a virtual audience. Both women and their bands dominated the stage, bringing talent and energy to the room — even without an audience to feed off of.

Proceeds from the show went to Northwest Harvest, Washington State’s hunger relief organization. Click through our photo story below for the best moments from the night.
