Tuesday night in Ballard was a night of femme-fronted goodness. Veronica Malki opened with a solo acoustic set and imbued an energy that set the bar for the rest of the evening. Halley Greg, with backing guitar from Jerett Samples, filled out the second spot. Natalie Paige, also with backing guitar (from Anthony Lee Phillips), headlined. The night ranged from playful to emotional and back, with all three acts bringing stylish, often catchy, tunes to Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.
