Isaacjacuzzi hits third summer single with “On My Line” August 28, 2019

Isaacjacuzzi has been lighting up the summer, dropping back to back bangers all season long. He dropped “White Bitch” in April and “Problem” in July. Produced by Platinum producer Royce David, “Problem” started as an acoustic snippet on Jacuzzi’s IG. Now he’s back with his newest single, “On My Line” feat. Highway.

Highway — who I first heard on “Ku$h Is My Cologne” with Juicethegod on the Friendly Fire Youtube channel — laces this song with bars that go over your head if you’re not really listening, like “I’m always stepped up by myself / I don’t even need no troupes” and “I told that bitch to give me top / like we on the roof.” While what he’s saying isn’t super dynamic, the way he words those bars is really creative.

My favorite part of this video is that it doesn’t rely heavily on effects or transitions and has a more cinematic feel, giving it a short film kind of vibe. The camera moves along with Jacuzzi and Highway in a room full of women who are standing still, giving it an artistic vibe. It makes it feel like you’re actually there and a part of the video.

The verses are also super catchy, touching on what could be animosity of a past relationship or just a reference to girls playing games, with lines like “no romance / how you showing no love / think she want me cause she know that I’m the plug” laid over an ambient melody with a very active drum pattern. The 808s — as the core focus — pop out at you and change variously, which will definitely have you running this track back.

“On My Line” is the perfect closeout song to summer with its an island vibe and riddim drum rhythms.
