Local alt-soul singer-songwriter Whitney Mongé, psych-blues group SuperMother, and art-rock septet Lyle created an atmosphere of musical camaraderie on Thursday night at the Tractor Tavern. Having organized the lineup, Mongé orchestrated a night filled with local musicians that bopped in and out of her set and kept fans on their toes.

The rotation of guest musicians seems endless, some staying for a single song.
Harmonizing with musicians of all types, Mongé is an absolute triumph.
While she loves playing with her friends, Mongé occupies a unique territory of her own while solo.
Mongé's soulful presence is amplified by her forceful guitar riffs.
