On Friday night, Cafe Racer hosted a jam-packed bill, with Sour Girl, Power Strip, Beatrix Sky, Medejin, and Sweet Creature. The five local acts brought a diverse set of talent, from headlining trio Medejin, to opening act Sour Girl, who played their first ever non-solo show. Sour Girl started the evening, first solo...
...and then joined by drummer Sheridan Riley and guitarist Ian Webb (not pictured) for her first ever non-solo performance.

Following Sour Girl was Power Strip, known off stage as Nellie Albertson.
Power Strip brought an ethereal, enigmatic energy to Cafe Racer.
Combining vocals, guitar, and several effects pedals, Power Strip creates a unique sound.
Ranging from a whisper to a scream, Power Strip's dynamic performance left the audience wanting more.
Next was solo performer Beatrix Sky.
Beatrix Sky weaves haunting melodies of love and loss.
This performance was at times experimental and at other times heart wrenching.
Beatrix Sky captures what it is to love an addict in "Love Drug."
