On Monday, the Sunset Tavern hosted a night filled with Look Up Records artists — SWYM, Sealife, and Darksoft — as well as opening act Daycones, a local experimental psych-pop project. On top of being a release show for SWYM’s newest EP, Strange Hallucinations, the night will also go down as Darksoft’s first live show.

Daycones performs live at Sunset Tavern as the first act of SYWM's EP Release Party.
Daycones is an experimental folk, glu-wave, psychedelic project based in Seattle.
Darksoft's music shimmers with soothing vocals and shoegaze guitar riffs within the digital mind frame.
Kurt Roy of Sea Salt joined Darksoft as bass guitarist.
This was Darksoft's first live show.
When not fronting Darksoft, Bill Darksoft writes the Look Up Records blog alongside dedicated volunteers giving album reviews, releases, and other music news within the label.
Darksoft's debut album, Brain, was released on October 26th of this year.
Roy is currently developing a full length album, which is expected to be released sometime in 2019.
Darksoft premiered its single, "Mydoom," for the first time live.
Sealife is the solo project of Peyote Ugly keyboardist and vocalist Brennan Moring.
When not performing in his solo project or Peyote Ugly, Moring writes poetry and plays guitar.
Sealife writes stories of art intimating life with a psych-pop bend.
A Paler Shade of White, Sealife's debut album, was released in September of this year.
Moring strums his guitar with panache as he ends his set.
Originating from Somerville, Massachusetts, SWYM is a dreamy, psych-rock duo based in Seattle.
The band was recently signed to Look Up Records as part the label's lineup of dreamy, psychedelic sounds within Seattle.
Ryan Brum, drummer of SYWM, throws a wink as he takes the crowd into a trippy, underwater experience.
Jesse Holden, lead guitarist and singer, performs solos while guiding the crowd in unlocking the secrets of the universe.
Brum raises his sticks after receiving applause from fellow trippers waking up from the sea.
This concert was a release show for SWYM's newest EP, Strange Hallucinations.
The band creates a climax as the vocals fade into nothingness.
